Moore Farms Botanical Garden | Fire Tower Center
Nestled amongst a sea of vibrant blooms, unique art acquisitions, botanical collections, and water features, Moore Farms Botanical Garden's "Fire Tower Center" is nothing short of breathtaking. It's year-round ambiance reduces the need for elaborate decor, making this venue offering organically special. The Fire Tower Center itself, with it's attached Tobacco Leaf Lawn and 4,800 sq. ft. Pavilion, are available for private events, business conferences/retreats, civic groups, garden clubs, or photography sessions. Although wedding ceremonies are not allowed in the garden, wedding rehearsals and/or receptions are now permitted!
Fire Tower Center Facility
The eco-friendly, handicap accessible, indoor Fire Tower Center facility underwent a complete remodel in 2022, and features modern architectural elements, complete with a traditional Southern spin. The Fire Tower Center facility remains the only indoor rentable option within the botanical garden. This space includes:
- The Event Room: A large 31.5 ft. x 26.5 ft. space that holds up to 80 people, outfitted with a smart 80” Apple TV (compatible on both PCs & Macs with surround sound).
- The Sun Room: Overlooking the Fire Tower Gardens and the Tobacco Leaf Lawn, the 11 ft. x 35 ft. Sun Room can comfortable accommodate up to 18 people and features it's own smart TV along with an adjustable conference room table.
- The Welcome Room: The colorful aerosol mural and complementary artwork within the Welcome Room demands attention as soon as guests arrive. Completely furnished, it's furnishings can be used as-is or may be removed, for a small fee, to allow for more event space.
Tobacco Leaf Lawn
The tobacco leaf lawn is exquisitely manicured year-round, and exists as an outdoor extension to the Fire Tower Center facility. It's whimsically landscaped turf design can easily accommodate a 50 x 100 ft. tent, should renters need additional covered space. Electricity and water hookups are available.
The Pavilion
Moore Farm's newest addition, The Pavilion was added to it's list of offerings in 2024. The multi-functional, covered, open-air structure is located just beyond the Fire Tower Center and the Tobacco Leaf Lawn. Comprised of 4,800 sq. ft., The Pavilion includes amenities such as concrete flooring, fans, lighting, and electricity.
All event spaces are conveniently located for access to a catering kitchen and restrooms inside the Fire Tower Center. Note that these facilities are not available for wedding ceremonies, however, they do allow wedding rehearsals and/or receptions.
