Welcome to The Coop! This is a cozy, family-friendly retreat in the heart of Lake City. Inspired by local charm and the town’s love for art, our home was created for our family and now yours. Enjoy a fully stocked kid’s playroom, comfy beds, and inviting spaces for all ages. Just minutes from downtown shops, dining, and galleries, it’s the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway or visit with loved ones.
The Space
There are three bedrooms.
The primary suite includes a king bed, a private bathroom, a Smart TV, a sound machine, and a box fan. The room opens to a screened porch and a small courtyard. The second bedroom also has a king bed, Smart TV, sound machine, and box fan. The third bedroom has two twin beds and a Smart TV, plus a sound machine and box fan.
All fireplaces in the home are decorative only.
The playroom is a favorite feature for families. It includes a jungle jumper, dollhouse, basketball hoop, slide, puzzles, books, magnetic tiles, toy cars, Little People toys, and board games.
The kitchen is fully stocked and guest friendly. It includes a Nespresso machine, toaster, blender, microwave, percolator, oven and stovetop, pots and pans, a dishwasher, and children’s plates and cups.
The bathrooms are original to the home with a clean and functional layout. Two bathrooms have a stand up shower and the other has a bathtub with shower. Extra toilet paper, tissues, soap, and a hairdryer are available.
A washer and dryer are available for guest use. Detergent is stored above the dryer.
Traveling families will also find a baby highchair, toddler booster seat, baby swing, a wooden kitchen helper stool, and sound machines in every bedroom.
Smart TVs are in every room and the home has high speed Wi-Fi. A brand new hot water heater provides fast warm showers.
The Coop is meant to feel like a true getaway. Comfortable, playful, and easy for families. We hope you enjoy your stay.
