Have you ever walked through your yard and wondered what the name of a plant is and how it got there? Many traditional Southern landscape plants you grew up watching your grandmother plant originated halfway around the world, but here they are today in our backyards. On the other hand, there are many unique species native to our region that some people would think are native to Africa! In this course we will discuss many of the plants you see every day but may not know much about their background. This will range from ornamental plants to weeds and everything in between.
Join us on Saturday, July 27 as MFBG Horticulturist Robby Davidson aims to help you get a better understanding of the plants you may find in your backyard.
