This holiday season, ArtFields and Visit Lake City have tinkered in their creative workshops to transform Lake City’s beloved Railway building into an unforgettable destination of imagination, creativity, and holiday wonder through Jingle Bell Journey: Storyland - an immersive, artist-created experience where families board the Jingle Bell Junction Express and journey through magical storybook realms brought to life by regional artists.
The journey begins in Jingle Bell Junction Village, where children and families can create holiday crafts, explore miniature storefronts, and make lasting memories together. When they hear the train whistle, they will gather at the Jingle Bell Junction Train Station, where they can enjoy coffee, cocoa and treats, play games with the family, and browse the JBJ Newsstand for souvenirs and keepsakes. When the conductor opens the doors, they will board the Jingle Bell Junction Express to travel into immersive environments filled with wonder, creativity, and interactive experiences.
This project is more than a holiday attraction - it is an investment in our community. By bringing together artists, local businesses, volunteers, and families, Jingle Bell Journey: Storyland celebrates creativity, supports tourism, encourages downtown visitation, and provides free access to K-12 students across the Pee Dee to an experience that will become a cherished holiday tradition.
