Few plants can compare to ornamental grasses for nearly nonstop performance, strength and visual impact. That’s only a few of the reasons gardeners like growing them. They’re also tough, drought-tolerant and come in a variety of sizes, shapes and colors. Not only do grasses make great additions to any garden, certain types can be used to make brooms.
Join us on Saturday, October 19 as MFBG Horticulturist Robby Davidson covers everything you ever wanted to know about ornamental grasses: the diversity of those found at MFBG; the different varieties that have the best color and attract wildlife; and native varieties.
Attendees will make their own grass brooms to take home. All materials included.
Lunch is not included, so please bring your own. A microwave and refrigerator are available.
