The first Explore the Pee Dee adventure kicks off at 10am, gathering at Seminar Brewing and Elliott's BBQ Lounge. From there, we’ll head to Scott’s BBQ in Hemingway for a delicious lunch (lunch on your own), followed by a visit to the Ronald McNair Life History Center and Memorial to honor the legacy of one of South Carolina’s most inspiring figures. After the tour, we’ll return to Seminar Brewing for ice cream provided by Elliott's BBQ Lounge — the perfect way to wrap up a day of exploration and connection. There is a $10 donation for the excursion. Proceeds go to the McNair Scholars Program. This Program helps to increase graduate degree awards for students from underrepresented segments of society in honor of Ronald E. McNair, Ph.D. Participants must provide their own transportation for this event.
