Event Overview

Have you ever wondered if the insects spotted in your garden are harmful or beneficial? This class will cover how you can tell. Learn to recognize pest damage and differentiate between harmful and beneficial insects. Gain valuable information on pest life cycles and methods of natural and biological control that should be undertaken before a chemical is ever considered. MFBG IPM Coordinator Maxine Marvosa will also instruct you on how to properly apply a pesticide, including how to read the label, steps for cleanliness and overall safety.

This class will take place both indoors and out, so dress accordingly.
