Plant Identification is a course intended to equip the homeowner with helpful tools and terminology to aid in understanding and identifying plants. This course will address the general patterns a gardener should look for in identifying plants, as well as a bird’s-eye view of the many vegetative and reproductive structures plants produce. From highlighting different types of flower structures to re-asking the question, “What is a leaf?”, Plant ID will give an invaluable boost to your horticultural knowledge and amaze you with the diversity of the plant world! Instructed by MFBG’s own Evan Cook.
*Participants are asked to please bring a bag lunch.
