The 2026 ArtFields Festival is bigger and better than ever — now spanning nearly a full month from April 10 – May 2! With up to 400 works of art displayed across Lake City and an expanded collection of outdoor competition and public art installations in the works, this year’s festival promises an unforgettable experience.

Festival Dates & Hours

One of the most important updates for 2026: ArtFields venues will be closed on Sundays and Mondays.

While some local shops and restaurants may choose to remain open, official festival activities — including voting registration and town-wide art viewing — will take place:

Tuesday–Saturday | April 10 – May 2

Venue Hours:

• Tuesday–Wednesday: 10:00am – 5:00pm
• Thursday–Saturday: 10:00am – 6:00pm

Be sure to plan your visit accordingly!

🏨 Book Your Stay Early

Guests rave about staying at our 57-room boutique hotel, The Inn at the Crossroads, calling it more than a stay — it’s an experience. Rooms book quickly during ArtFields, so we recommend reserving as soon as possible.

🌿 Don’t Miss Moore Farms Botanical Garden

Just five miles from downtown, Moore Farms Botanical Garden is a 1,000+ acre botanical haven that perfectly complements your ArtFields visit.

While you won’t see this year’s competition pieces there, you will find an impressive collection of past ArtFields works and commissioned art throughout the gardens.

Open April 10 – May 2 (Closed Sundays & Mondays)
Daily Hours: 8:30am – 3:00pm

Pro tip: Start your morning at Moore Farms (it opens earlier than downtown venues!) before heading into town for ArtFields.

During the festival, Moore Farms also offers:

Every week of ArtFields offers a slightly different atmosphere. If you're considering visiting on a weekend vs. weekday, here’s how to choose what fits your style:

Opening & Closing Weekends

April 10–11 | May 1–2

If you love:

• TONS of street performers
• Live music on every corner
• Bustling sidewalks
• BIG energy

These weekends deliver the ultimate festival buzz. Expect larger crowds and limited hotel availability — but an electric atmosphere you can feel in your bones.

Mid-Festival Weekends

April 17–18 | April 24–25

If you prefer:

• A more relaxed pace
• Easier restaurant walk-ins
• Slightly more hotel availability
• Space to linger with the art

These weekends offer a balanced, immersive experience with some street performers and live music but without quite as many crowds.

There’s truly no wrong time to visit — just different vibes to enjoy.
