Downtown Lake City will sparkle with festive cheer this December 5–7 during our annual Hometown Holidays Christmas Festival. From dazzling light displays to an immersive children’s village, this three-day celebration is filled with holiday magic for all ages.

Festive Fun Awaits

Kick off the weekend at the After Dark Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, December 5. Throughout the festival, families can snap a photo with Santa and his merry friends, explore over 40 holiday-themed activities, and enjoy seasonal treats while shopping downtown.

A highlight for families is Jingle Bell Junction—a charming, pint-sized Christmas village filled with interactive fun. This year, the village will be indoors at the Jones-Carter Gallery, bigger and better than ever. Jingle Bell Junction opens during Hometown Holidays weekend and will remain open through December 20, offering even more opportunities for field trips and weekend fun.

Sip, Savor, and Celebrate

On Saturday, December 6, adults can enjoy the Downtown Wine Stroll, while kids take part in activities spread throughout local shops. Live music, dance performances, and the return of the Candlelight Tour of Historic Lake City round out the weekend’s entertainment.

As you dine, shop, and explore, you’ll find local businesses beautifully decorated for the season, ready to welcome you with festive spirit.
