The City of Lake City is gearing up to host a number of exciting summer events. From music, to esports, to golf, you are sure to find an event for you and your family!

• June 14 – 15: Kicking off the summer event calendar is the city’s third annual Juneteenth Celebrations. The two-day celebration kicks off with a community meet and greet on Friday, June 10 at The Bean Market. The meet and greet gives residents of Lake City the opportunity to meet representatives from local community organizations. The fun continues on Saturday, June 15 with a Juneteenth Parade on East Main Street and a ticketed brunch at The Bean Market. Purchase tickets for the brunch on Zeffey.

• Aug. 9 Calling all golfers, it’s tee up for a great cause at the Inaugural Lake City Classic at Lake City Country Club on Friday, Aug. 9! 24 four-player teams will be teeing off to see who the best in Lake City is. All proceeds from the event will go towards the city’s youth recreation sports season. • Aug. 16 – 17: Game on! A.G.E. Con returns to The R.O.B. Aug. 16-17! The two-day anime and esports showcase features esports tournaments, vendors, cosplay, and more. After each night, stop by The Bean Market for Beats & Bytes, an electronic dance music concert that you will not forget! Come experience the exciting world of anime, gaming, and entertainment! • Sept. 7: We end the summer event calendar with Gospel on the Green on Saturday, Sept. 7, on The Village Green. The annual concert features local performers live in concert for an unforgettable evening of fellowship and music. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy an evening of great gospel tunes.
